“All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone,” wrote the French philosopher Blaise Pascal. It is amazing that he said it in the 1600s and it’s more true now than ever before.
Focus is the art of filtering out the noise and directing your attention to the task at hand. When it comes to personal productivity, focus is usually the prime qualitative factor that separates the good from great.
When it comes to running a business though, it’s not just an individual’s focus but the collective focus of the enterprise that plays a huge role in the growth and success of a company. Knowing where to direct your scarce resources is only possible if the whole company is focused on realizing the vision
In this session, I’ll share with you both aspects of focus: personal and organizational.
